Where Authors Connect For Accountability and Support

I don’t know about you, but when I write books I could use some help.

I don’t need someone to write for me, but sometimes I need assistance with …

  • Getting me off the “I’ll definitely write something tomorrow” or procrastination train.
  • What word can I use here?
  • Should the quotations marks go before or after the punctuation in this sentence?
  • Where is the best place to research  ______?
  • Inspiration to keep going.
  • Another set of eyes to read a paragraph or sentence.
  • Encouragement when I can’t imagine anyone caring enough to read this book I am writing.

The list could go on and on. In response, I am creating a community of authors who are working on their book. It can be the first book of the fiftieth book. If you are in the process – no matter where you are in the process – I would love for you to join us.

In this Writer’s Circle, you will find:

  • Accountability with four Write It Out Days (otherwise known as Get it Done days) a month. These calls will be a great check in to monitor progress. Keeping in mind that sometimes the progress means you won’t write a word, but you will do research or organize the project or particular chapter.
  • A private facebook group complete with special days to share a sentence or quote from what you have written each week. Resources from around the globe will be shared here in an effort to help with grammar, mechanics, voice, tone, punctuation, word usage, etc. It will also be a place to ask questions and get opinions.
  • I will hold office hours on the 2nd Thursday from 2 – 4pm EST.
  • A group of people who will support and encourage you. Writing can be a lonely effort. It helps to know that there is a group of people experiencing similar things. It is a truly beautiful thing not to feel alone in this adventure.
  • Opportunities to create relationships with people who understand the struggles of promoting a book and building a platform. These relationships can translate into help with your book, feedback for your book to be best piece you can put out there, and so much more.
  • A place to be vulnerable before exposing that vulnerability to the public at large. Practicing vulnerability can be incredibly valuable before you launch your book.
  • A celebration and launch day support when you finally complete your book and are ready to release it to the world.

You can come in to the Circle at any point in the writing process, including if you haven’t written a word yet and are just thinking about it. You can stay as long as you like. Once your book is complete you can still stay and be supportive of the others. Besides – most authors who have the courage to publish rarely stop at one book. Your next work might be in process as soon as the current one is released. We welcome you in and encourage you to stay.

There is a one time fee of $100 to join the circle and have access to the calls and the facebook group. If you are interested in joining us, please feel free to register here:

Something else you should know. This circle is about writing, not publishing. I don’t care in the slightest who is publishing your book, and

Your book is your gift to the world. Let’s create it together!

there will not be any pressure or sales pitch whatsoever for you to publish with The Zebra Ink. If you are writing a book, you are welcome to join us. That is the only requirement.

I am super excited for you to join us! The Write It Out days are fantastic. We get together at the beginning and the end of a three hour block of time. If you make all four days then you will get twelve hours of writing or working on your book a month. That can make a big difference for any author! The engagement in the facebook group is awesome too! Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It is nice for everyone to not feel so alone in this book writing endeavor. I do hope you will join us!

Imagine all of the great literature that we can create together!!
